Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a subsidiary of Amazon providing on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies, and governments on a pay-as-you-go basis. Last year, the company reported 37% yearly growth and accounted for 12% of Amazon's revenue (up from 11% in 2018). This year, despite the global pandemic that we all know of, Amazon as a whole reported a revenue of $75.5 billion in the first quarter alone, with AWS now being a $10 billion business.
During these Covid-stricken times we live in where unemployment is unprecedented on a global scale, AWS is definitely one of the most secure workplaces to be at, providing a generous compensation package, numerous perks and opportunities in abundance.
What this coaching service includes:
- An initial one-hour long consultation to discuss the overall 'character' of the AWS interview and advise the candidate on how to prepare.
- A thirty-minute long mock interview on a later day to test the candidate's preparation and identify areas for improvement.
- A second and final thirty-minute long mock interview just prior to the actual interview with the aim to boost the candidate's confidence further, address any outstanding weak areas and provide final feedback.
Though my main target audience is people who wish to join AWS in a technical role, this coaching service would also be of benefit to pretty much anybody who would like to work for this amazing company. The cost is only $99 without VAT (a tiny investment considering the potential reward).
